Chief Cardiologist
Estela Thano, DO
Dr. Thano is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in the primary prevention of heart disease, coronary artery disease, valvular disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. She facilitates and interprets various cardiac diagnostic tests, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, and cardiac monitoring.
In addition to her cardiology practice, Dr. Thano treats vascular problems and venous insufficiency, which can significantly enhance aesthetics and alleviate or eliminate painful vein conditions.
With over a decade of service to the Lee County community, Dr. Thano adopts a collaborative approach to healthcare. She is particularly interested in women’s heart health and gender-specific risk factors. As a skilled listener, she strongly believes that the patient and doctor form a team. Her goal is to create a personalized care plan that focuses on each patient's individual needs, promoting optimal health outcomes and quality of life.
